Annual Irish Hoolie...a benefit for the Immigrant & Refugee Women's Program (IRWP).  We played this event last year, and it was SO much fun! We'll be there... Keltic Reign -full band!, for a rockin good time.  We play from 1 to 4pm  This is a great way to celebrate St. Patricks Day and avoid the crazy bar scene that happens later in the month.
Admission is...  $10 at the door, kids are free
Maggie O'Brien's is just West of Union Station, at 2000 Market St.
Free Parking - Street and valet
This room is non-smoking.  Maggie O'Brien's will donate a portion of the proceeds from their delicious food to IRWP
Music, Fun, Games, and Silent Auction!  All money collected from this event goes directly to IRWP...it is such a wonderful organization.
For more info on IRWP ....check out their website...www.irwp.net
IRWP volunteer help immigrants from other countries, that cannot speak English. These are often mothers with young children, traumatized from what they left behind in their homeland, too afraid to leave their tiny apartments, and venture to the market even.  Volunteer take them to the store and teach them the basics of our language, so they can begin to start their lives over. I am sure it is like someone sent an angel to them.   What a great organization.
